EYWA is a biotechnology startup focused on transforming mental healthcare through the development of patient-centered treatments powered by biosynthesis and psychedelic medicine. With a vision centered on accessibility and innovation, the company is building new approaches to mental health therapies using adaptogenic and hallucinogenic mushroom microdosing.
As part of this initiative, EYWA sought a strategic technology partner to support the creation of a two-sided digital platform designed for both patients and practitioners. The platform was envisioned to enable treatment tracking, patient follow-up, monitoring, and data collection within a secure and scalable healthcare environment.

The main objective of the engagement was to execute a comprehensive Product Discovery process that would help EYWA better understand the needs, expectations, and behaviors of future users, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and patients involved in psychedelic-assisted treatments. Through this process, the company aimed to validate its product vision, define core workflows, and prioritize the functionalities that would deliver the highest impact during the platform’s initial stages.
At the same time, EYWA sought to design a fast and cost-efficient MVP that could be tested in real-world scenarios while minimizing business and technical risks. Using tools and technologies such as Figma, React.js, Rails, Material-UI, TailwindCSS, D3.js, and Chart.js, the team designed and developed a functional MVP focused on treatment tracking, patient follow-up, and engagement workflows related to psychedelic-assisted therapies. Different user profiles and interfaces were created for practitioners and patients, ensuring a scalable and intuitive experience tailored to the platform’s unique healthcare context.
